8 (1861) on an entire letter from Mexico to Puebla. The stamp was previously used as it bears a Puebla district name and a portion of the CIUDAD DE MATAMOROS cancel. The stmap is tied by the Mexico Diligencias (stagecoach) cancel. The stamp also show a reentry doubling the bottom ornaments. A scare postal fraud. $75. PHOTO

634 on mourning cover, Ambulante service addressed to President Franklin Roosevelt. Backstamp proves cover was part of FDR's collection and sold at auction by HR Harmer SCAN $25
639 on cover to New Jersey with two interesting ancillary markings. The first reads, "COOPERE CON EL CONSEJO NACIONAL DE REPATRIACION" the second "CONCURRA USTED A LA FERIA NACIONALISTA DE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO. FIN DE ANO". Missing flap on rev, still very nice $10 PHOTO
