Venezuela Papel Sellado

Papel sellado is used throughout Latin America for legal documents.  To submit a legal document in a court (for virtually anything from a car registration to a divorce decree, the document must be completed by a notary public (in Latin America, notaries are prominent lawyers) on papel sellado.  Papel sellado is a printed sheet of lined paper with a revenue stamp printed on the very top.  Since these are legal documents, they do no often come available in the stamp marketplace. We recently acquired a box of mostly used, predominently Venezuelan papel sellado from several different states from the 1940s and 1950s.  Most have been torn from their original documents.  We have not trimmed these at all but prefer to leave them with as much content as possible so the pieces can be written up in your collections.  If more than one of each is required, write us as quantities are available on some states and classes.  Here is what we can offer:
